Quranic Passages Part 1

Surah Al-Fatiha
Okay, so at first I used to write about the life of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), but now in the Islamic Section of this blog..I decided to review the teachings of some of the Surahs of the Quran and the Hadith of the Hazrat Muhammad (SAW)..
Surah Al-Fatiha is the first Surah that I have taken to review..This Surah contains 7 verses and it was revealed on the Holy Prophet (SAW) in Medina..This Surah is important as it is repeated 32 times in our prayers and it is the opening Surah of the Holy Quran..
Allah is alone Who is recipient of all praise, the praise worthy, the praised one..None of His Angels and the Prophets are to be associated with Him, even by implication..Allah is alone the Master and Owner, Sustainer, Provider and Guardian, Sovereign, Ruler, Administrator and Organizer..Allah is Lord of universe in every sense..He is very merciful and forgiving..Belief in occurrence of the Day of Resurrection is one of the fundamental beliefs of Islam..On that day all human beings will be summoned to the Glorious court of Allah for the accountability of their belief and deeds..Allah explains the same subject in the 19th verse of Surah Al-Infitar (The Cleaving) in the following words, “A day when no soul shall have power to help another soul, and that day the whole affair shall belong to Allah”.
We declare our covenant to submit our whole selves to the Will of Allah..We should have entire obedience of Allah in our heart in all aspects of human life..We should always ask for Allah’s help in every step of our life..
We should ask for Allah’s support to find and keep in the right way because our wisdom may fail to find and our soul may fail to follow it..It can be found or followed by the Grace of Allah..To seek His Grace we invoked Allah for His guidance..Straight way or right path can only be found by entire submission to Allah..
Straight way could be found by following Allah’s teachings and those teachings may be understood and followed by means of the character of those people who have been favored by Allah..People who are favored by Allah are: Prophets, the saints, the martyrs and the righteous..The people who earn Allah’s anger are those who deliberately violate Allah’s law..They are the people who stray out of carelessness or negligence..Both (the violators of Allah’s law and strayed out of negligence) are responsible for their own acts and omissions..
